Sunday January 9, 2005

ARL has linked up with the PGA Tour’s Shotlink system at the Mercedes Players Championship in Maui to provide the most comprehensive 3D analysis of a golf tournament to date.
“This is the combination of the world’s best 3D graphics system and the most comprehensive golf analysis system in the world.”ESPN Golf Producer, Chris Ohlmeyer.
ARL’s Golf Trak system uses the latest aerial photogrammetry to build the high resolution, photo-realistic model of the Kapalua Course in Maui and is able to provide real time rendering and animation of any view over which to lay the comprehensive Shotlink data base.
“The Shotlink system gives us information on every shot played by every player in the tournament so the stories we can tell and the level of analysis is really quite mind boggling.”
Golf Trak operator Steve Bradley.
