May 03: ARL CEO Ian Taylor is awarded Maori Business Leader of the Year at the BNZ Aotearoa New Zealand Maori Business Leaders Awards in Auckland, but has some issues getting the award back home to Dunedin - May 02: ARL coding stalwart Paul Sharp (also a rescue volunteer for Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter) is awarded 'Rescue of the month' by Surf Life Saving New Zealand, for his part in the rescue of 30 Columba College pupils on March 1, 2013.
2012 NZ Hi-Tech Awards Intro
ARL produced a 2-minute animation of Auckland city for the 2012 NZ Hi-Tech Awards Gala Dinner, held at the Sky City Ballroom in Auckland on 11 May. The animation played as part of a live performance of 'Tarakihi' by NZ vocalist Elizabeth Marvelly.
