‘Eruption’, Gibson Group’s latest telefeature shows us just what could happen if a hot spot 100km under Auckland suddenly erupted. The Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences and Civil Defence were consulted at every step in the creation of a realistic scenario from showing the evacuation process to the dramatic eruption sequence. Arl were asked to create the volcanic eruption and resulting pyroclastic flow that envelopes Auckland city.

Kaitangata Twitch is an exciting thirteen part family mystery thriller taken from Margaret Mahy’s ‘Kaitangata Twitch’. The ARL team played a part in the Kaitangata magic, creating the 3D/2D visual effects. Kaitangata Twitch has already made a wonderful impression, winning the Platinum Award at the Houston World Festival for Children’s/Family Television Series.
