‘Eruption’, Gibson Group’s latest telefeature shows us just what could happen if a hot spot 100km under Auckland suddenly erupted. The Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences and Civil Defence were consulted at every step in the creation of a realistic scenario from showing the evacuation process to the dramatic eruption sequence. Arl were asked to create the volcanic eruption and resulting pyroclastic flow that envelopes Auckland city.
