Singapore Circuit 2011

14 Apr 2011

A prime example of ARL/Virtual Eye architectural and terrain visualization. Originally modeled for BBC coverage of the 2009 Formula One Championship, the virtual Singapore Grand Prix circuit has been updated each year in keeping with changes to the track layout at the real-world location. The current track is one of the longest in the sport at just over 5km, with the lap record standing at 1:45.599s. This virtual flyover of the first night-venue in Formula One history (2008) completes the circuit in a stately 2:46:000s.
