On the night that CERA and CCDU released the Christchurch CBD Blueprint animation (a job that had required ARL to build a 3D model of Christchurch in just over 2 weeks) Ian Taylor received a phonecall from Waterfront Auckland. Could ARL do the same sort of thing for Auckland's Wynyard Quarter, but in a couple of days? Waterfront Auckland is responsible for about 45 hectares of waterfront property, including Wynyard Wharf and the land north of Pakenham Street at Wynyard Quarter, Westhaven Marina, and part of Queens Wharf. Of course, Ian said "I don't see why not", and the result is the video above.
